Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Associate Attorney to join our personal injury law firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting our legal team in managing plaintiff personal injury cases from inception through trial, ensuring our clients receive the best possible representation and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of legal documents and filings for personal injury cases.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
  • Participate in depositions and prepare witnesses for trial.
  • Represent clients in settlement negotiations and mediation sessions.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs for litigation purposes.
  • Review and analyze medical records and other evidence to build case strategies.
  • Attend court hearings and trials, providing support to senior attorneys.
  • Maintain communication with clients, keeping them informed about case progress.
  • Collaborate with experts and other professionals as needed to strengthen case presentations.

Qualifications

  • 1+ Year of Experience as an Attorney (Personal Injury background preferred)
  • J.D. Degree or Esquire
  • Colorado Bar Certified
  • Litigation skills required, trial experience preferred
  • Familiarity drafting Pleadings, conducting Depositions, preparing and responding to Written Discovery, Motions Practice, and Jury Trials
  • Competency in Case-Management Software
