Casualty and Mass Tort Associate

Position Overview
The Casualty and Mass Tort Associate will support the legal team in managing and litigating cases related to mass torts and casualty claims. This role involves collaborating with senior attorneys, conducting legal research, drafting motions, and participating in depositions to ensure effective representation of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and management of mass tort and casualty litigation cases.
Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
Draft and file legal documents, including motions and pleadings.
Participate in depositions and witness interviews as needed.
Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and prepare for trial.
Review and summarize case files and relevant documents.
Maintain case management databases and ensure compliance with deadlines.

Qualifications

Jurisdiction-specific law degree from an accredited institution.
Active bar membership in the relevant state.
1-3 years of experience in litigation, preferably in casualty and mass tort cases.
Strong research and writing skills with attention to detail.
Experience in drafting motions and participating in depositions is highly desirable.
