Job Title: Claims Specialist
Salary: $80k-$110k/yr
Location: 2 days onsite in Orange, CA
Position Overview
The Claims Specialist will be responsible for managing and processing insurance claims, ensuring compliance with industry regulations while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires thorough investigation and assessment of claims to determine their validity and to negotiate settlements effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and process insurance claims efficiently and accurately.
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and documentation.
- Interpret insurance policies and regulations to assess claims validity.
- Conduct thorough investigations into claims, including interviews and evidence gathering.
- Negotiate settlements with clients and third parties as needed.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all claims and communications.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely claim resolution.
- Identify potential fraudulent claims and report findings accordingly.
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the claims process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in claims processing or customer service within the insurance industry.
- Strong understanding of insurance regulations and policies.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze information and problem-solve effectively.
- Proficiency in data entry and management.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple claims simultaneously.
- Analytical skills to assess risks and losses accurately.
