Job Title: Account Manager - Commercial Lines 

Location: Denver, CO 

Salary: $75-85K base salary 

The Commercial Lines Account Manager is responsible for managing and developing a book of commercial insurance business. This role involves building strong relationships with clients, understanding their insurance needs, and providing tailored solutions to meet those needs. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of commercial lines of insurance and demonstrate exceptional customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, underwriters, and other stakeholders.
  • Analyze client insurance needs and provide recommendations for coverage and risk management solutions.
  • Prepare and present insurance proposals and renewals to clients.
  • Coordinate and manage the policy issuance process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Monitor and manage claims for clients, acting as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and market conditions to advise clients effectively.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelors degree preferred
  • Proven experience as an Account Manager in the insurance industry, specifically in commercial lines.
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products
  • Active Colorado P&C license 
  • Experience with AMS 360 or similar agency management systems is preferred.
