Position Overview
The Controller will oversee the accounting department, ensuring the integrity of the financial reporting process and compliance with accounting standards. This role requires strategic planning to manage financial operations effectively while leading the team towards achieving the company's financial goals.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting and compliance with GAAP
Develop and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets
Prepare and present monthly financial statements to executive management
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes
Coordinate annual audits and ensure compliance with tax regulations
Implement ERP software solutions and maintain accounting systems
Manage cash flow and optimize working capital through effective financial strategies
Lead and mentor accounting staff, promoting professional development
Collaborate with other departments to align financial management with business strategies

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA or CMA certification preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management
Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting standards
Experience with ERP software, preferably Oracle or SAP
Proven leadership and team management skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis techniques
