We are actively seeking an Automation Engineer with vision systems experience

In this role, you will provide automation, manufacturing workflow solutions, and information collection and reporting for our St. Louis facilities. We have a state-of-the-art facility, and a world class team already in place. The ideal candidate will provide automation troubleshooting for corrective maintenance activities.

Role Responsibilities

Perform equipment evaluations and troubleshoot both mechanical and automated system evaluations.
Monitors equipment systems for reliability, maintenance history, downtime factors, efficiency, and other elements affecting overall up-time and quality output.
Performs periodic software system backups, security (password) updates, PLC code comparisons, and maintains the Automation Archives.
Collaborate with various department managers to ensure the mission objectives, and strategies are fully executed consistently and to support the site toward various service level agreements.
Serves as System Administrator for all manufacturing, inspection, packaging, laboratory, and support systems where Automation group has the primary support role. Maintain list of active users, adds new approved users, removes terminated users, and resets passwords when necessary.

Basic Qualifications

Minimal - Associate's in a technical Engineering field; Preferred Bachelor's; or 5+ years' experience in industrial automation & controls, pharmaceutical or manufacturing.
Extensive knowledge of programming of PLCs, HMIs and/or SCADA systems.
Vision systems experience required - Cognex highly preferred
