Controls Technician

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Controls Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of building automation systems (BAS) to ensure optimal performance and efficiency of HVAC systems. This role involves working closely with clients and other professionals to deliver high-quality solutions that meet client needs and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain building automation systems (BAS) including Tridium and Distech products.
Conduct troubleshooting and repairs on HVAC control systems to ensure reliability and efficiency.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to design and implement control strategies.
Provide technical support and training to clients on BAS operation and functionality.
Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on control systems to ensure optimal operation.
Document all work performed, including system configurations, maintenance activities, and service reports.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Controls Technician or in a similar role within the HVAC industry.
Strong knowledge of building automation systems (BAS), including Tridium, Distech, N4, AX, ASC, and OEM systems.
Familiarity with HVAC systems and controls.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
