Director of Business Development

Position Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Director of Business Development to spearhead our growth initiatives in the construction sector. This role will focus on building strong relationships with potential clients and partners, identifying new business opportunities, and driving the overall business strategy to enhance our market presence and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company growth targets.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the construction industry, focusing on both commercial and residential projects.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, general contractors, and industry partners.
Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth in the construction sector.
Lead the preparation and presentation of proposals, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company capabilities.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery and exceptional client satisfaction.
Monitor and analyze competitor activities and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
Manage and mentor the business development team to enhance performance and achieve objectives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development, preferably within the construction industry.
Proven track record of successful lead generation and contract negotiation.
Strong understanding of commercial and residential construction processes.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze market trends and formulate effective strategies.
Experience in managing teams and driving results in a collaborative environment.
