Title : Electrical Engineer (MEP)

Location: Westlake OH, HYBRID schedule (2 days in office)

Requirements: Electrical design, AutoCAD/Revit, ability to travel to client sites (under 25%)

We are seeking a talented and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems and components, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. This role will involve collaboration with other engineering disciplines and project stakeholders to deliver high-quality electrical solutions that meet project requirements and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electrical systems and components for various projects.
  • Conduct power distribution analysis and design to ensure efficient energy use.
  • Utilize AutoCAD to create detailed electrical design drawings and schematics.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to integrate electrical systems into overall project designs.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal electrical codes and regulations.
  • Perform site inspections and assessments to evaluate existing electrical systems and recommend improvements.
  • Participate in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting efforts.
  • Provide technical support and guidance during the construction phase to resolve any electrical issues that arise.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or related field.
  • Experience in MEP design or facilities engineering.
  • Proficiency in electrical design and power distribution.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical and/or Revit software.
  • Understanding of lighting systems and fire alarm, security systems design
  • Knowledge of facilities electrical design and construction project management practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, client relations and teamwork abilities.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer in Training (EIT) certification preferred but not required. For those interested in pursuing, assistance may be provided.
