Project Deputy Leader

Position Overview
The Project Deputy Leader supports the Project Manager in overseeing electrical contracting projects across various sectors such as commercial, industrial, and public works. This role is integral to ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while also fostering strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Project Manager in planning and executing electrical contracting projects.
Coordinate with project teams to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Support the management of project schedules and budgets.
Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any issues.
Ensure adherence to MEP and NEC codes in all project aspects.
Prepare project reports and documentation as needed.
Assist in the management of project resources and equipment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
Proven experience in electrical contracting and commercial/industrial construction.
Knowledge of electrical systems, MEP, and NEC regulations.
Experience in managing projects within various sectors including healthcare, education, and hospitality.
Possession of a Master Electrician or Journeyman Electrician license is preferred.
Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
