Concrete Estimator

Location: Carroll, OH

Salary: $80k-$120k

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Concrete Estimator to join our team. The primary objective of this role is to prepare accurate estimates for concrete projects, ensuring that all costs are accounted for and that projects remain within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete work and estimation processes.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates for concrete projects including materials, labor, and equipment.
Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine project requirements.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to refine estimates and address project changes.
Review and evaluate subcontractor bids and proposals for accuracy and completeness.
Maintain records of estimates and project specifications for future reference.
Assist in budget preparation and cost control measures throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Concrete Estimator or similar role.
Strong understanding of concrete construction processes and materials.
Proficient in estimation software and tools, preferably Bluebeam.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
Nice to have: Experience with slabs, excavation, flatwork, and backfill projects.
