Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Concrete Estimator with experience in commercial concrete estimating to join our dynamic team in Lorton, VA. The successful candidate will play a critical role in preparing accurate cost estimates for a variety of $2M-$20M projects, ensuring that we remain competitive and efficient in our pricing strategies. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to exciting projects while growing within a respected organization.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare comprehensive and accurate cost estimates for commercial concrete projects, including material quantities, labor, and equipment costs.
Analyze project plans and specifications to understand scope of work and requirements.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather data and ensure estimates align with project goals.
Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and gather relevant information for accurate estimating.
Maintain and update pricing databases and estimation software to reflect current market conditions.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in concrete estimating (We are open to more experienced candidates as well)
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
