Director of Finance and Accounting

Position Overview
The Director of Finance and Accounting will oversee all financial aspects of the organization, providing strategic financial leadership to drive business performance. This role will be responsible for the financial planning, reporting, and analysis to support the company's growth objectives, particularly within the food manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth and profitability.
Oversee financial planning and analysis (FP&A) to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
Coordinate the preparation of financial reports, forecasts, and budgets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Manage cash flow and working capital to optimize the organization's financial health.
Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Partner with operational teams to provide financial insights and drive business decisions.
Collaborate with external stakeholders, including investors and auditors, to communicate financial performance and strategy.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance and accounting roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
Proven experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) and financial reporting.
Strong knowledge of private equity, particularly in the food manufacturing industry.
Demonstrated financial leadership skills with a track record of driving business results.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
