Human Resources Manager

Position Overview
The Human Resources Manager will oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes in our manufacturing environment. This role is crucial in aligning our HR strategy with business goals, enhancing employee engagement, and fostering a productive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract top talent in the manufacturing sector
Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital
Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
Maintain pay plan and benefits program to ensure competitive compensation for employees
Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management

Qualifications

Proven working experience as an HR Manager or other HR executive role
Manufacturing industry experience is essential
Knowledge of HR systems and databases
Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field; Master's degree or HR certification is a plus
Union experience and knowledge of labor laws is a nice to have
