Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, specializing in installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC units in residential settings. The technician will ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems while providing excellent customer service and adhering to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

Install and configure HVAC systems and equipment in residential properties
Perform regular maintenance and preventive checks on HVAC systems to ensure efficiency and reliability
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment, including refrigeration, heating, and cooling systems
Conduct inspections and diagnostics on HVAC controls, gas systems, and electrical systems
Communicate effectively with customers regarding system performance, maintenance needs, and repair options
Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams for HVAC installations
Follow safety protocols and regulations while performing tasks
Document service calls, repairs, and maintenance performed on equipment

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in HVAC preferred
Proven experience as an HVAC technician, particularly in residential settings
Strong knowledge of refrigeration, electrical systems, and HVAC controls
Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems effectively
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations related to HVAC
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams
Valid driver's license and good driving record
