Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in insurance coverage and general liability, and will be responsible for representing clients in various legal proceedings.

The firm's work involves a variety of policies, including general liability, commercial property, ocean and inland marine, homeowners, automobiles, and jewelers and furriers block.

Key Responsibilities

Represent clients in court and during legal proceedings
Draft and file legal documents including briefs and motions
Conduct depositions and witness examinations
Develop case strategies and provide legal counsel to clients
Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
Research legal precedents and case law to support legal arguments
Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to prepare for trials

Qualifications

Jurisdiction License to practice law
J.D. (Juris Doctor) degree from an accredited law school
Minimum of 3 years of experience in litigation, preferably in insurance coverage
Strong understanding of general liability and casualty law
Experience with premises liability cases
Proficient in drafting legal briefs and motions
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
