Job Title: Litigation Attorney
Location: Providence, RI
Salary Rate: $120,000 - $180,000.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Manage a personal caseload involving personal injury and medical malpractice matters

  • Conduct client intake and maintain ongoing client communication

  • Prepare demands and negotiate settlements on behalf of clients

  • Represent clients at depositions, arbitrations, mediations, and trials

  • Conduct legal research and apply legal principles in motion practice and litigation

  • Participate in weekly team meetings to evaluate and advance cases

  • Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals on complex medical negligence and serious injury cases

  • Engage in all stages of case handling, from intake to final resolution

Qualifications:

  • Five or more years of relevant experience

  • Demonstrated client-focused approach, both internally and externally

  • Experience in Personal Injury, Complex Litigation, and Medical Malpractice

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong academic background

  • Excellent analytical, time management, writing, and oral communication skills

  • Strong legal research and writing proficiency

  • Licensed to practice law in Rhode Island; admission in Massachusetts and/or Connecticut is a plus
