Maintenance Mechanic

Position Overview
The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of industrial equipment through effective maintenance and repair. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and the installation of new machinery to support the operational goals of the facility.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of industrial equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on equipment issues to identify the root cause of failures.
Execute preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
Repair and replace defective components, utilizing various tools and techniques.
Assist in the installation of new machinery and equipment as needed.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status.
Adhere to safety protocols and best practices while performing maintenance tasks.
Collaborate with facility management to address equipment needs and improvements.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in maintenance or mechanical fields preferred.
Proven experience in equipment maintenance within an industrial setting.
Strong knowledge of industrial equipment and mechanical systems.
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues effectively.
Experience with preventive maintenance and repair processes.
Familiarity with plumbing and facility management practices is a plus.
Excellent technical skills and attention to detail.
Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
