Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team on the 3rd shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our facility by performing routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery within the food manufacturing environment. This role is crucial for maintaining high safety and quality standards while minimizing downtime.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance on production equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in a timely manner
Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and maintain accurate maintenance logs
Collaborate with production staff to identify and resolve equipment malfunctions
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving production issues as they arise
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field is a plus
3+ years of proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a food manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
Familiarity with safety standards such as EPA and OSHA regulations is preferred
Experience with Rockwell Software and PLCs is a plus
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
