Propulsion Manufacturing Engineer

Position Overview
The Propulsion Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing processes involved in the production of propulsion systems. This role is vital to ensure efficient, high-quality production while adhering to safety and regulatory standards. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing procedures and implement best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Design and optimize manufacturing processes for propulsion systems
Conduct feasibility studies and process improvements to increase efficiency
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure designs are manufacturable
Implement quality control measures and ensure compliance with ISO standards
Utilize CAD software to assist in the design and modification of manufacturing equipment
Analyze production data and conduct statistical analysis to enhance process performance
Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and develop corrective actions
Manage projects related to process improvement and automation initiatives
Provide training and support to manufacturing personnel

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in propulsion or aerospace
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control principles
Experience with Six Sigma methodologies and process improvement techniques is a plus
Proficiency in CAD software for design and process planning
Familiarity with materials engineering and production planning
Knowledge of automation and robotics applications in manufacturing
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Strong project management skills and ability to work in a team environment
Good communication skills and attention to detail

Salary: $75,000 - $90,000
