PCB Plating Manufacturing Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled PCB Plating Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on optimizing the plating process in PCB manufacturing, ensuring high quality and efficiency while meeting production targets. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in manufacturing engineering and PCB technologies, contributing to the development and implementation of innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and optimize plating processes for PCB manufacturing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing efficiency and quality.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for plating-related issues.
Design and execute experiments to validate new materials and processes.
Provide technical support for production teams during the plating process.
Monitor and analyze production metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations regarding PCB manufacturing.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience in PCB manufacturing processes, particularly in plating.
Familiarity with Epicor or similar ERP systems.
Strong understanding of quality control methodologies and lean manufacturing principles.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience with CAD tools and schematic capture is a plus.
Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies is advantageous.
