Mechanical Design Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and machinery. This role requires strong technical expertise and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop mechanical systems and components using CAD software such as AutoCAD and Inventor.
Conduct engineering analysis and simulations using FEA to validate designs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet project specifications and requirements.
Create detailed design documentation including drawings, specifications, and reports.
Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Oversee the fabrication of prototypes and conduct testing to assess performance and reliability.
Utilize knowledge of PLC and HMI systems to integrate control systems into machinery designs.
Ensure compliance with industry standards such as UL508A.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Proven experience in machinery design, mechanical engineering, & application experience
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Inventor.
Experience with FEA and mechanical analysis tools.
Knowledge of controls engineering, including PLC and HMI integration.
Familiarity with hydraulic systems and machine design principles.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
