Mechanical Project Manager

Position Overview
We are seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to oversee and manage engineering projects within the food processing industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, project management, and process piping, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage mechanical engineering projects in the food processing sector from inception to completion.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and resource availability.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and documentation.
Conduct regular project meetings to track progress and address any issues that arise.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations throughout project lifecycle.
Manage vendor relationships and oversee procurement of materials and equipment.
Provide technical guidance and support during all project phases, including design, installation, and commissioning.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience as a Project Manager in mechanical engineering, preferably in the food processing industry.
Strong knowledge of process piping systems and design principles.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with various stakeholders.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
