Position Overview
The Plant Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations of the facility, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of all equipment. The role focuses on implementing continuous improvement initiatives, maintaining safety compliance, and leading a team to achieve maintenance goals while managing the budget effectively.

This position will be growing into a Plant Management role within the first 6 months of hire. 

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance strategies to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
• Lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure effective execution of maintenance tasks.
• Manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective practices and adherence to financial targets.
• Oversee predictive maintenance programs and root cause analysis to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the maintenance team.
• Collaborate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities with minimal impact on production.
• Manage relationships with vendors and contractors for maintenance services and parts procurement.
• Utilize maintenance management software to track maintenance activities and performance metrics.
• Monitor and maintain electrical and mechanical systems to ensure peak performance and compliance with industry standards.
• Implement HVAC systems maintenance protocols to ensure optimal environmental conditions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in plant maintenance management or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and reliability engineering principles.
• Proficiency in predictive maintenance techniques and root cause analysis.
• Experience with maintenance management software and PLCs.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively and manage budgets.
• Familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and their maintenance requirements.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
