Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Probate Associate to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist with managing probate cases, ensuring smooth administration of estates, and providing legal support in matters related to probate law. This role involves working closely with clients and other legal professionals to navigate the complexities of taxable estates and ensure compliance with relevant laws.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and filing of probate documents
Conduct legal research related to probate and estate tax matters
Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on case progress
Collaborate with attorneys to develop strategies for estate administration
Prepare estate tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations
Attend court hearings and assist in the representation of clients in probate matters
Maintain accurate records and documentation for probate cases

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
LLM in Estate Planning or a related field preferred
Strong knowledge of probate law and procedures
Experience with taxable estates and related tax issues
Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
