Production Supervisor
Position Overview
The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the production floor, ensuring that manufacturing processes run smoothly and efficiently while meeting quality standards and production goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production team members to ensure efficient workflow.
- Develop and manage production schedules to optimize capacity and resource allocation.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance process optimization and reduce waste.
- Conduct regular assessments of production processes and suggest improvements for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage and train production staff, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of scheduling, supply chain management, and inventory management practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
