Position Overview
$75M+ in revenue heavy civil shop looking for an estimator with 3+ years experience. Excellent pay, 401k, healthcare, profit sharing, etc at a company with a well known brand in the area.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates for heavy highway and civil construction projects.
Conduct quantity takeoffs and utilize Agtek for effective cost analysis.
Analyze bids and prepare bid analysis reports for management review.
Collaborate with project managers to ensure cost estimates align with project scopes and timelines.
Review and assess subcontractor bids and procurement options for cost efficiency.
Provide support during project turnover and assist in budget management throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience in estimating for heavy highway, civil construction, or bridge construction projects.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Agtek, Bluebeam, or similar a plus
Strong understanding of earthwork, paving, concrete, subcontracting, and procurement processes.
Heavy highway, bridge, utility experience a plus
