Roofing Project Manager
Position Overview
The Roofing Project Manager will oversee and manage roofing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that work is executed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This role will coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and team members to deliver successful projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of roofing projects from planning to execution and completion
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project alignment and efficiency
- Develop project schedules and budgets, and monitor progress throughout the project lifecycle
- Implement safety compliance measures and ensure a safe working environment for all team members
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets industry standards and client expectations
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors to secure favorable terms and pricing
- Oversee risk management strategies to mitigate potential project challenges
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and address any concerns
- Maintain documentation of project progress, changes, and communications
Qualifications- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the roofing or commercial construction industry
- Strong knowledge of roofing systems and construction management practices
- Excellent skills in estimation and budget management
- Demonstrated ability in contract negotiation and vendor management
- Familiarity with building codes, blueprints, and quality control processes
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Effective communication skills for client and stakeholder interactions
- Knowledge of safety compliance regulations and best practices
