Position Overview
The Drywall Estimator is responsible for accurately assessing project costs related to drywall installation and finishing. This role involves collaborating with project teams, reviewing blueprints, and providing detailed estimates to ensure projects are completed within budget and on time.

Key Responsibilities

Review project blueprints and specifications to understand scope of work
Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for drywall projects
Utilize estimation software such as On Screen Takeoff and QuickBid
Collaborate with subcontractors to gather pricing information
Analyze project requirements and identify potential cost-saving opportunities
Prepare and present estimates to project managers and clients
Maintain organized records of estimates and project documentation
Stay updated with industry standards and best practices in drywall installation

Qualifications

4+ years of experience as a drywall estimator for commercial projects
Strong knowledge of drywall installation processes and materials
Proficiency in estimation software, particularly On Screen Takeoff and QuickBid
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
