Location: Fresno, CA (near the Yosemite Int Airport and Cal State Univ Fresno)
Role: Senior Electrical Design Engineer
Pay: $110k-$180k
On-site w/ light travel in/around the Fresno / Valley area (travel will be reimbursed)
There is relocation assistance offered if needed

We are a tight knit engineering firm with 20+ years of business and due to an influx in work we are looking to hire several talented Engineers! Our work is spread across the Education, Commercial, Healthcare, Industrial and Municipal spaces.

You do NOT need to have your P.E. or electrical designer license!

What You Will Be Doing

Lighting and power equipment selections
Performs lighting and power circuiting and designs.
Prepares Fire Alarm device layout.
Designs and coordinates lighting controls
Designs power single line and riser diagrams
Designs fire alarm riser diagrams and sequence of operations
Understand and utilize CAD standards.
Performs field surveys for the design of electrical systems, gathers information and completes load summaries.
Prepares electrical schematic designs.

What You Need for this Position

5+ years working experience as an Electrical Engineer
Strong background in Electrical Design
Experience in a few of the following: hospital, educational, water, and fire alarm engineering
Have a working knowledge of Codes and Energy Standards
Ability to read floor plans, sections and elevations, risers, details, schedules, and specifications.
Huge bonus points (but not required):
Electrical Engineering degree or license
Professional Engineer (P.E.)
Lighting design
