We are growing and looking to add a Senior Mechanical Engineer to the mixture.

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing mechanical systems and components, with a focus on heavy structures and weldments. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and the ability to work collaboratively on complex projects.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop mechanical systems and components, ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications.
Perform detailed analysis and simulation using tools such as ANSYS and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to validate designs.
Create and modify 3D models and technical drawings using CAD software, particularly SolidWorks and Inventor.
Lead and participate in assembly and layout planning for mechanical systems, ensuring efficient and effective solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design integration and project success.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and interns.
Conduct design reviews and present findings to stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design and analysis, with a focus on heavy structural components.
Proficiency in CAD software, especially SolidWorks and Inventor.
Experience with ANSYS and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for structural analysis.
Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
