Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Embedded Engineer to join our innovative team focused on developing cutting-edge OTA systems for the automotive industry. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing and implementing embedded software solutions that enhance user experience and vehicle functionality.

Compensation: Up to $250k base pay DOE

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop embedded software for automotive OTA systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Implement robust software solutions using C++ and Rust
Ensure the quality and reliability of software through Test Driven Development (TDD) practices
Work on Over-The-Air (OTA) update mechanisms and wireless connectivity features
Optimize system performance on Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS)
Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
Proven experience in embedded software development, preferably in the automotive sector
Strong knowledge of C++ and Rust (Preferred) programming languages
Experience with RTOS and real-time programming concepts
Familiarity with wireless communication protocols and OTA update processes
Understanding of Android Auto development
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment
