Supervisor / Bindery Operator

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Supervisor / Bindery Operator to oversee and coordinate the bindery operations in a commercial printing environment. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient workflow, maintain high-quality standards, and lead a team of bindery operators to meet production goals.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and manage bindery operations and staff to ensure efficient production processes.
Monitor production schedules and adjust workflow to meet deadlines and customer requirements.
Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
Train and mentor bindery staff on best practices and equipment operation.
Collaborate with the printing department to ensure seamless workflow between printing and binding operations.
Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the bindery process and implement effective solutions.

Qualifications

Proven experience in commercial printing and bindery operations.
Strong knowledge of bindery equipment including saddlebinders, Muller-Minutenman, and Muller-Martini systems.
Experience with press operations and equipment is a plus.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong attention to detail and quality assurance practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
