Tax Manager

Position Overview
The Tax Manager will oversee the company's tax compliance and reporting function, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local tax regulations. This role is vital for optimizing the company's tax position and managing relationships with tax authorities while providing strategic guidance to internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns for various entities including partnerships, S-Corps, and C-Corps.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and risks.
Provide guidance on tax issues related to financial reporting and transactions.
Serve as a point of contact for tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities.
Review and manage tax provisions and effective tax rates in financial statements.
Collaborate with other departments to provide tax-related support and advice on business decisions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or EA certification preferred.
5+ years of experience in tax accounting, with a focus on compliance and reporting.
Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations related to partnerships, S-Corps, and C-Corps.
Experience in public accounting is highly desirable.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
