Job Location: Port Richey, FL
Job Salary: $100-125k + bonus potential

Position Overview
The Tax Manager will oversee the tax compliance and planning processes for our clients, ensuring adherence to federal and state tax laws. This role involves managing a team of tax professionals, providing expertise in various tax matters, and developing strategies to optimize tax positions for individual and business clients.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the preparation and review of federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses.
Provide guidance on S Corporation tax matters and compliance.
Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize client benefits.
Oversee tax planning initiatives and perform tax research as needed.
Supervise and mentor junior tax staff, providing training and support in technical tax matters.
Stay up-to-date with changes in tax regulations and laws to ensure compliance and optimize tax strategies.
Communicate effectively with clients regarding their tax situations and educate them on tax planning opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or Enrolled Agent certification required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax compliance and planning.
Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations regarding individual and business returns.
Experience with S Corporations and understanding of their tax implications.
Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
