Position Overview
As a Tax Manager, you will play a key leadership role within the firm's tax department. You'll be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients, overseeing complex tax engagements, guiding staff, and delivering proactive tax planning strategies. Key Responsibilities

Review and supervise the preparation of complex federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts
Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to clients across various industries
Manage multiple client engagements and maintain strong client relationships
Train, mentor, and supervise junior staff and associates
Research complex tax issues and prepare technical memoranda
Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and firm policies
Assist with business development and contribute to the firm's continued growth

Qualifications

CPA license required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Master's in Taxation preferred
Minimum 5-7 years of public accounting experience, with a strong focus on tax
In-depth knowledge of federal and New York State tax regulations
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Experience with tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
