Tax Manager

Position Overview
The Tax Manager will oversee tax planning and compliance for high net worth individuals (HNWIs) and ultra high net worth individuals (UHNWIs). This role is crucial for ensuring accurate tax preparation, strategic tax planning, and adherence to regulatory requirements, while providing exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the tax compliance and planning process for individual and entity clients, including S-Corps, C-Corps, partnerships, and trusts.
Manage the preparation and review of various tax returns including 1040, 1120S, 1065, 709, 1041, and 706.
Coordinate with clients and internal teams to gather necessary information for tax preparation.
Provide strategic tax planning advice to clients, focusing on minimizing tax liabilities and maximizing financial opportunities.
Conduct tax research and stay updated on tax law changes to inform clients and internal teams.
Supervise and mentor junior tax staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns and compliance with all tax regulations.
Prepare and review estate and gift tax returns, ensuring compliance with fiduciary responsibilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; Master's degree or LLM in Taxation preferred.
Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required; Enrolled Agent (EA) designation is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax compliance and planning.
Extensive knowledge of tax laws and regulations affecting high net worth individuals and business entities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and tax software applications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
