Tax Senior

Position Overview
The Tax Senior is responsible for managing and overseeing tax compliance and reporting activities for a variety of clients. This role requires a strong understanding of tax regulations and the ability to provide sound advice to clients while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws. The Tax Senior will work closely with team members to deliver high-quality tax services and contribute to the growth of the firm's tax practice.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships
Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
Research and analyze tax issues and provide recommendations
Mentor and train junior staff members on tax processes and regulations
Assist in the development and implementation of tax strategies for clients
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and changes in regulations

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
CPA certification is required
Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
