Technical Lead

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead/Manager to oversee our software development projects, particularly focusing on game development using C# and Unity. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise and the ability to lead a team in creating innovative and high-quality software solutions. This role requires both technical acumen and leadership capabilities to guide the team through various stages of development, ensuring best practices are followed.

**This role is 3x days a week on site in LA**

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development team in designing and implementing software solutions using C# and Unity.
Oversee project timelines, ensuring deliverables are met on schedule.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope and objectives.
Mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and compliance with technical standards.
Identify and implement best practices in software development, including CI/CD processes.
Participate in architectural discussions and decision-making for new projects.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the team.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in software development using C# and Unity.
Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
Experience leading and mentoring development teams.
Familiarity with JavaScript, REACT, Node.js, and embedded systems is a plus.
Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD tools is advantageous.
Experience with multiplayer and networked game systems, especially Photon, is a bonus.
Exposure to VR, AR, or XR technologies is preferred.
Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
