MEP Estimator

Position Overview
The MEP Estimator will be responsible for providing accurate cost estimates for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing projects. This role involves analyzing project specifications, preparing detailed estimates, and collaborating with project managers and engineers to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Review project plans and specifications to understand project scope and requirements.
Prepare detailed cost estimates for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Collaborate with project teams to assess project needs and timelines.
Conduct field measurements and surveys to gather necessary data for estimates.
Utilize AutoCAD and Revit for blueprint reading and analysis.
Perform cost analysis to evaluate pricing strategies and financial performance.
Assist in the preparation of bids and proposals for projects.
Negotiate contract terms with clients and subcontractors.
Ensure compliance with building codes and industry standards.
Maintain accurate records of estimates, proposals, and contracts.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Proven experience as an estimator in the MEP industry.
Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
Proficiency in blueprint reading and technical drawings.
Familiarity with building codes and regulations.
Experience with cost analysis and project management.
Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit software.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Salary - $135,000 - $175,000
