REMOTE Tax Supervisor/Manager

Position Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Remote Tax Supervisor/Manager to oversee our tax department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Trust Estate Tax and a CPA certification. This role involves managing tax compliance, providing strategic tax advice, and ensuring the accurate preparation of tax returns.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the preparation and filing of Trust Estate Tax returns for clients
Provide strategic tax planning and advice to clients regarding trust and estate matters
Manage a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support
Ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations
Review and analyze tax returns for accuracy and completeness
Communicate effectively with clients to address inquiries and provide updates on tax matters
Stay current on tax law changes and their implications for clients
Collaborate with other departments to ensure integrated tax strategies

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA certification is required
Minimum 4 years of experience in tax preparation and compliance, specifically in Trust Estate Tax
Strong understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements
Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in public accounting is a plus
