Position Overview
We are a leading global flexible packaging company that is seeking to add a Controls Engineer to our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining control systems to enhance operational efficiency and safety. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical controls and PLC systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Key Responsibilities

Design and develop control systems for various applications.
Conduct PLC maintenance and repair to ensure system reliability.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with control systems and electrical controls.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize control panel designs.
Implement HMI systems to improve user interaction with machinery.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Document system designs, modifications, and maintenance procedures.

Qualifications

Associates degree in engineering or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience in controls engineering and system design.
Strong knowledge of PLC maintenance and repair processes.
Familiarity with control systems and electrical controls.
Experience working with Allen Bradley PLCs.
